📤 HLS Upload Guide

What is HLS?

HTTP Live Streaming (HLS) splits audio into small segments (.ts files) with a playlist (.m3u8). This enables secure streaming without exposing the full file.

Convert on Mac (FFmpeg)

ffmpeg -i "song.wav" -c:a aac -b:a 128k -f hls -hls_time 10 -hls_playlist_type vod -hls_segment_filename "song_%03d.ts" "song.m3u8"

Upload Steps

1. Go to "Upload Track"
2. Select "Pre-converted HLS"
3. Enter title, genre, price, duration
4. Upload song.m3u8
5. Upload ALL song_*.ts files (select multiple)
6. Click "Upload Track"

Get Duration

ffmpeg -i "song.wav" 2>&1 | grep Duration
