UK's biggest 3G network, with over 50 thousand fans on facebook, required the development of an application based around a competition where user where given the opportunity to be featured on Three UK wall and in Three UK advertising campaigns on billboards, major news papers and to win prizes ranging from discount vouchers on electronic equipment and clothes.
In return they had to access the competition through a fan gate developed to boost fan numbers, register and upload photos to be judged suitable for Three UK advertising campaign. A backend admin section was created to enable the selection process of prospects by administrators. GD, PHP, CSS, Cross browser scripting, MySQL relational database and JavaScript was used. Designs were provided in the form of Photoshop Documents (PSD's). Alteration to designs was made where required. Communicated was established with the client development team, where advice was provided on suitable platform and application requirements. The campaign started with 34,066 fans and over 7 days averaging 150 new fans per day liking Three UK fan page. The page now has over 50,000 fans as a results of existing fan engagement.
